JUST IN: First Video Of Black Sherif Being Led Out of Airport After ‘Arrest’ Surfaces and Causes Stir -WATCH VIDEO
On the evening of July 19, 2023, musician Black Sherif was taken up at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
He was halted upon entering the nation after his name was added to a “STOP LIST,” according to a Kofi TV report.
The decision, according to Kofi Adomah, host of the Kofi TV channel on YouTube, was due to a contract he had broken, which led to a complaint being filed against him.
Social media was awash with reports of the ‘arrest’ even though there were no pictures or videos to back them up, but blogger Nkonkonsa has now shared what look to be the first pictures of Blacko being led from the airport.
The artist is seen in the Twitter video being brought into a car by two people, one of whom is a police officer and the other is dressed in a mufti.
According to a Kofi TV report, the musician was transported from the airport to the police headquarters in Accra.
He was supposed to do a July 4 event in Greece as part of the deal, but he didn’t.
We spoke to our sources, who said that it looks to be a contractual issue that requires him to perform on a cruise ship in Greece after charging US$40,000 and only receiving half of that sum.
“He was due to receive the the balance after playing the show,” Kofi stated.
The show was scheduled for July 4 and Blacko did not honour it.
