The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo today showed up on Wontumi Radio and TV station live to embark on his Campaign tour in the Ashanti Region through Wontumi multimedia.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be very much grateful to the President for making his Radio and TV station more significant with how rare a President can visit a Radio or TV station for an interview.

It has been decades since a President was granted an interview on a Radio station but due to the ongoing pandemic, Campaigns has been put on hold so the media is the only effective medium the NPP flag bearer can campaign through as he goes on tour.

President Akufo-Addo speaking, urged all Ghanaians and NPP sympathizers to put their trust in him by giving him his remaining 4-years in the December elections because he have more things to fulfill and to offer the country in the next years to come. Elaborating on this, he stated that John Mahama has no good thing to offer the country that’s why he couldn’t retain his seat after just first term in office so Ghanaians should vote for him to continue the good works.

He then urged every citizen to endeavor to register for the new voters register not because of Election purposes but rather to prove your identity in every place you find yourself and to avoid any regrets in the near future.

Into conclusion, he disclosed that there will be no more campaigning to an astronomical people but rather it will be done online, TV stations,Radio stations and house-to house due to the dreadful pandemic and so Ghanaians should expect more interviews from him.
