Mahama Vs Duffour Camp: Confusion Rocks NDC As Executive Members Turn At Each Other; This Is Not Good For The Party -Shocking Details Released

Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) national women’s organizer, is charged with organizing a sabotage brigade to thwart Dr. Kwabena Duffuor’s bid to be the party’s standard bearer.

Solomon Nkansah, a former national communications officer for the NDC, is her accuser. He says Madam Hanna Bissiw has been removing advertisements for Dr. Duffuor’s campaign and comments posted on the National Women’s Wing platform by other women who support Dr. Duffuor’s agenda.

Mr. Nkansah questioned why some party members, particularly executives, are picking sides in the impending flagbearer contest when it shouldn’t be the case while speaking on the Kumasi-based Ultimate Cup of Tea show.

“Individual party executives who have established platforms (WhatsApp), like maybe national youth wing, national women’s organizer, regional this and that, it came to our notice that the National Women’s organizer Hannah Bissiw does not allow anybody on the platform to showcase Dr. Duffuor’s fliers or statement or anything that has to do with our candidate, a development I took it personal to call her and reason with her that this is not the best”

“She vehemently opposed and told me that is her platform but I reminded her that this is not her personal platform, this is an NDC platform, if you think that your wing should not participate in the upcoming elections then you better advice,” he said

“Why is she allowing others and not allowing Dr Duffuor’s? This will not generate the needed cohesion post-elections. Why delete Dr Duffuor’s items on an NDC platform? This is not right. We have to do things that will have faith in the system”, he bemoaned

However, he made note of similar opposition to Dr. Duffuor’s team from several regional executives in the Volta Region when they were in the area to campaign.

“We have had overwhelming support from Greater Accra and Northern Region on our travels. But in the Volta Region, some executives made it difficult for us to enter but we showed them we had been in the party before them by bulldozing their resistance. Some people’s personal interest is leading them in all of this contest and not giving a fair playing ground”. He disclosed.
