The exercise is a general headcount to enable Ghana Audit Service (GAS) do auditing for payroll. Each teacher would be required to present his / her documents in person (no proxy) on dates attached.
The following documents would be inspected;
1. Payslips April to June 2021
2. Birth Certificate
3. All promotion letters
4. First appointment letter
5. Assumption of Duty letter
6. Certified Certificates
All teachers in Ghana on Government payroll are to avail themselves for this important exercise. Ghana Education Service (GES) District Offices in collaboration with Ghana Audit Service (GAS) will schedule an appropriate date for this exercise in your district on circuit bases.
Headmasters are required to contact their Circuit Supervisors for further details.
