The information available indicates that the driver of the Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Peter Boamah Otokunor, has been arrested by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), formerly known as Bureau of National Investigations (BNI).
Per what we gathered, the arrest is in relation to recent rampant fire outbreaks in markets across the country.
For the past few days after elections, the country has experienced many fire outbreaks at the various big markets and this has raised lots of suspicions and the lookout for arsonists.
Though, the party has not said anything pertaining to that yet, but a reliable source revealed.
Also, the outfit of the security service has not yet made this known publicly.
