Mr. and Mrs. Addo Antwi have been the talk of the entire Church Of Pentecost across Ghana over the past week after they completed the church building they single handedly built with an amount estimated at GHc 2,500,000.00 and gifted it over to the church of Pentecost management.
Indeed some people do understand what Christianity is especially when they look back into their lives and where the Lord has brought them, they tend to do things for God without any regret.
Most of us have witnessed a situation whereby some people will give out their precious materials including money all in support of God’s work and we begin to ask ourselves if the person is really normal to give out such things.
Even though there are some situations whereby some pastors are making businesses of God’s work and are making money out of it but one thing that we Christians know is the Day of Judgment will come where everyone will be judged accordingly.
Mr. and Mrs. Addo Antwi, members of The Church of Pentecost are one of the people who cannot keep to themselves alone the abundant blessings of God in their lives. They worship at the Nchiraa Assembly in the Kintampo Area of The Church of Pentecost.
According to the Mr. Kwame Antwi, a native of Nchiraa, the Lord laid it on his heart to put up a church building to replace the deplorable state of their previous worship center. He put it before his beloved wife who is also a member of the church and a God fearing woman, she also supported the idea and decided to give her husband her maximum support.
Though it was initially difficult for them financially and other factors but due to determination, they were able to successfully complete the building.
The couple single handedly constructed the magnificent church building at a cost estimated at Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc 2,500,000.00) for the Nchiraa Assembly in the Kintampo area of Church of Pentecost, Ghana.
The 700-seater church building contains children’s auditorium, it is fitted with modern chairs, LED TV screens, a full set of musical instruments, offices, washrooms and store rooms.
The building was successfully completed and the couple handed over the keys to Apostle Mark Obeng, the chairman of the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regional Coordinating committee during the dedication of the church building which took place on Friday, 30th October, 2020.
This couple have done great, what only few people can do. I don’t think its all about the amount in their Bank Account because some people have more than such an amount but have never dreamt of doing this for God’s work.
