United Konkomba Musicians and Association Settles On 4th March For General Election -See More Details
The United Konkomba Musicians and Association (UKMA), a music group affiliated to the Musicians Union of Ghana has settled on March 4,2023 for their general elections. This election marks the second democratic process for the local musicians.
Most of the serving executives have decided not to seek rerun except only the general secretary.
The positions available include: PRESIDENT, 1st VICE-PRESIDENT, 2ND VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL SECRETARY, ORGANIZER, TREASURER and the WELFARE OFFICER.

2.Mr Abraham Nlenkiba Njonaan (Kawastar)
ORGANIZER
1.Mr N-nibul Tamanja (Mr Natural Peter)
2.Mr Simon Mojah Donkor
TREASURER
Mr. Ebenezer Jakamba (Tilachala) (Unopposed)
WELFARE OFFICER
Mr. John Busub Nalibe-Starboy (Unopposed)
The Election will take place in all the 42 Zonal branches of the Union nationwide.

The group’s first Democratic election was held on December 8,2018 with handing over on March 16,2019 at Y. Good morning hotel in Kpassa.That means the serving officer have held power for four years.
The Outgoing President of the Union, Mr Emmanuel Batcho who has decided not to seek re-election extends his best wishes to all contestants and wishes them a fruitful election.
