Report has it that the sister of the late Sir John died of the coronavirus few days earlier and the family had schedule her burial in August.
Yet it followed the sudden death of former general secretary of the governing party Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John.

Education and Regional Integration ministers Mathew Opoku Prempeh and Dan Botwe are awaiting their results after running tests for the virus. Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman Many is recuperating after being hit by the virus.
Meanwhile, COVID-19 deaths in Ghana now stand at 117 with 4,467 active cases and 13,550 recoveries, the Ghana Health Service has announced on its website.
