A Former Communicator of the New Patriotic Party in Wa Central has revealed that Regional Party Chairmen are Payed Ghc50, 000 Monthly.

According to Baba Waala, a Student of The Ghana institute of Journalism, some Chairman were portraying the party as if it wasn’t helping them financially.

He made the statement on his facebook wall on the 15th of May 2022.

“NPP Regional Chairmen are paid Gh50,000 every month.
Just informing those sharing some list of what SB did.
Also with all donations our chairman did, he deducts from monies meant for supervisions.

An NDC Constituency Communication Officer, Mr. Mumuni Mohammed Tando Pushed to be sure if the information was reliable, the Communicator Affirmed and gave the go ahead for the information to be used as reference.

“Baba Waala It’s interesting that a party that could not pay the rent for its headquarters is now dolling out Ghc50,000, 5000, 3000, 1000 every month to its regional chairmen, Regional Sec. Constituency Chairman and constituency Sec. respectively.”
