NPP Inaugurates Powerful Women’s Wing In Upper West Region -Photos Drop

The upper west regional women Organiser Mrs Nancy Amel Dery of the ruling New Patriotic Party has inaugurated what is believed to be a powerful regional women’s wing in Wa,the capital of the upper west region with secretariat .The program attracted National,regional constituency and polling station executives including party sympathizers and government appointees.

The Wa Municipal Chief executive Issahaku Moomin Tahiru urged party sympathizers to be more proactive saying doors are open in this government to support local businesses especially women who have employable skills from the indefatigable women Organiser and elsewhere.He said the NPP government has rolled out policies and programs that if leadership decide not to empower you but automatically the system would do so.

The regional Chairman Mr.SB Kangberee also donated three thousand Ghana cedis on behalf of the regional executives and also urged party sympathizers not to relent in their efforts of working for the party saying “Dr Mahamudu Bawumia can only win by 50%+1 in the general elections and any of you here could be the plus one and that, it is good to be in government and insult one another than in opposition and have no one to blame or insult “

Mrs Nancy in her keynote address also said she believes in women empowerment that is geared towards transforming society economically hence the need to train more women even if they can not produce to sell but produce for domestic purposes or personal use.

The deputy National women Organiser Hon.Hajia Safia on her part said she is overwhelmed with the awesome job done by Mrs.Nancy, she was emphatic that, women in upper west should open up for Mrs Nancy because she is a game changer and worthy of emulation by other women Organisers.

Hajia Safia added that she hope to seeing upper west becoming the hub of locally manufactured soaps and detergents one day through the hands of Mrs Nancy and upper west women.

Mrs.Nancy sometimes back train over thousand women in the manufacturing of detergents such as liquid soap,hand sanitizers,yoghurt and many others even before she was elected the regional women Organiser.The program ended with joy and finest with entertainment by Halitu waala group based in Wa zongo at Konta a suburb of the wa municipality.
