An assertion delivered by DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said the suspect was captured following a report held up at Lafenwa divisional base camp by the mother of the person in question, who detailed that she sent her girl to proceed to enhance a congregation at Ita oshin area of Abeokuta along with the suspect on the sixteenth of April 2022.
“On getting to the congregation, they met a few different ladies who came to clear the congregation in anticipation of Sunday administration. In any case, soon as those ladies left in the wake of clearing the congregation, the suspect supposedly exploited being distant from everyone else with the person in question and strongly had an unlawful sex with of her just inside the congregation.
Upon the report, the DPO Lafenwa division, CSP Kayode Shadrach, point by point his analysts to pursue the suspect and deal with him. He said the analysts immediately moved into the scene and expeditiously captured the suspect who have since admitted to the wrongdoing.” the assertion read
Oyeyemi added that the state official of police, CP Lanre Bankole, has requested the quick exchange of the suspect to the counter illegal exploitation and kid work unit of the state criminal examination and insight division for additional examination and conceivable indictment.
