 A 55-year-old David Wassah, one of the popular Konkomba musicians has been called to glory.

 The sad event occurred on the evening of Friday May 22, 2020 at Kanbowuli.
David Wassah until his departure was a member of the Chinderi zone of the United Konkomba Musicians and Associates (UKMA).
Information gathered from his family indicates that the musician passed away in a prayer camp in Kambowuli where he was receiving spiritual help to a deadly medical condition he battled with for some time now till his death.
The remains the body has since been kept in a Mortuary at Kete-Krachi Hospital in the Oti Region.
David Wassah,a danceable Konlpmba musician hails from Jatokura, a suburb of Banda in the Oti Region, he has to his honor, four-album cassettes with some hit songs like “Bicham Anyi timbi” means Strangers don’t know what is happening in a strange land.
The late David Wassah recorded his first album in the year 2000 with other musicians with the music stage name: “Unity Boys”
He is survived with a widow and 6 children.
The burial is yet to be announced.
