Assin Central Member of Parliament Mr. Kennedy Agyapong has replied the leader and founder of the Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyin Asare over his comment that the system is working in the United Kingdom than Ghana.

According to Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, Bishop Charles Agyin Asare does not know what he is talking about. He described Agyin Asare as a failure for refusing to use his preaching as a means to transform the system.

It would be recalled that the respected man of God in video from the United Kingdom expressed his surprise at the level of protocols instituted to curb coronavirus. He indicated that the system in the United Kingdom is working 24/7.

But Mr. Kennedy Agyapong is unhappy with the comment. He believes the Bishop is downplaying the system instituted in Ghana to curb the Coronavirus outbreak. He says, most people are not abiding by the laws of the country because the preaching of pastors like Bishop Charles Agyin Asare is not encouraging.

“I don’t hate Agyin Asare but when he speaks, I should quickly respond to him and shape his thoughts. Agyin Asare says the system is working in the UK but I want him to know that his preaching will not encourage people to be law-abiding in Ghana. The advanced countries have systems working because church members abide by the laws and the men of God preach the good doctrines. So your preaching must change the system”. He indicated.

Mr. Kennedy Agyapong added that Bishop Charles Agyin Asare must be informed that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo-led New Patriotic Party government has performed better in the management of the coronavirus pandemic than the UK.

He added that the President is currently changing the system and the man of God must appreciate the effort.

“Akufo Addo has performed better in the management of the coronavirus pandemic than the UK. We should clap for Akufo Addo because he is changing the system. The pandemic has affected every country. You are comparing the UK to Ghana but have done nothing. The system works everywhere and you must appreciate what Akufo Addo has done for this country”. He added.
