Kennedy Agyapong, Four (4) Others In Trouble After Super Delegates Conference -Details Drop
Kennedy Agyapong, another candidate for flagbearer, and four other individuals have been reported by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the party’s disciplinary committee.
According to a statement published by the party, the flagbearer candidate will be required to respond to and offer additional information regarding the charges and threats he made against certain personalities in a video that has since gained widespread attention on social media and in the media.
In response to claims that one of his operatives was ejected from a polling place, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, a presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), threatened to challenge President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
In a video that went viral, the Assin Central MP was heard saying, “I swear to God, President Akufo–Addo, I will give you a showdown; Vice President, I’ll give you a showdown for chasing my agent out to run into a room. You will see what happens here. Yes, I swear on God, I will challenge President Akufo-Addo anytime”.
In addition, four additional people—Mr. Raphael Patrick Sarfo, Mr. Charles Dokyi Yaw-Addo, Mr. Musa Sulemana, and Mr. Hopeson Yaovi Adorye—have been reported to the party’s disciplinary committee for violating party constitution during the recently concluded Super Delegates Conference.
