According to the official press release as shared by MALE HALLS page, a committee inaugurated to investigate the clashes between Commonwealth Hall and Mensah Sarbah Hall found the two officials incapable of handling student affairs.
Few weeks ago, residents of Mensah Sarbah and Commonwealth Halls clashed on the University of Ghana campus. Many students sustained various degrees of injuries. One car belonging to a senior tutor was also burnt to ashes.
For now, management wants the two top officials to leave so that investigations can continue. In other news, authorities of the University have launched a portal for students to anonymously send pictures, videos and text regarding the disturbance. They promised to keep all their informants safe. They will use the pictures and videos to intensify their investigations.
