A spiritualist in Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional of Ghana, has recounted how he called for the immediate arrest of two young men (25 and 23 years of age) recently following the killings of innocent people for ritual purposes including the Kasoa ritual incident.
Mallam and spiritualist, Heik Alhaji Mohammed Maaye narrated to Citi News, how he called the Ghana Police Service to arrest some money-thirsty young men who came to him for quick ritual money but he denied them the offer.
According to the spiritualist, the two guys, Mubarak Zuma of age 23 and Ishmael Yakubu of age 25, called him later and said that they are ready to exchange human parts for money. They said that have a human head ready at the moment for the moneymaking ritual to be performed.
However, they boys were unaware of the fact that Mallam Heik Alhaji Mohammed Maaye is a spiritualist in dealing with the treatment of spiritual diseases and other chronic sicknesses. He also deals in money doubling but does not require human sacrifice or human parts.
“I told them to come over for the ritual to be performed for them. Then after hanging up the call, I quickly called for the attention of the police that they should come around because this is what was happening right now at my clinic. Fortunately, the police arrived immediately after the boys and they arrested them,” he narrated to a Citi News reporter.
He continued, “After they were arrested and detained, they were questioned and they said that the identity of the human head is a female and that she was selling sachet water when they lured her into a car with yoghurt and beheaded her instantly.”
According to the spiritual man, the decision to bar spiritual activities on television is not the only option but that the young people themselves are ever ready to go any length to get the ritual money they are craving for.
Better plans must be put in place to ensure that this problem is completely curbed for good. Merely putting a stop to the activities of spiritual men who require human sacrifices in exchange of incessant money inflow is not the only option, he suggested.
