Former first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings’ younger sister Nana Yaa Agyeman passed away.
Nana Yaa Agyeman, the dead who was the wife of renowned Ghanaian journalist Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Harruna Attah, passed away on August 17, 2022, at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), following a brief illness.
Asaaseradio.com reports that Nana Yaa Agyeman passed away at the age of 63.
She left behind a spouse and two daughters, Rahma and Ayesha Harruna Attah.
She worked for the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and then held the position of editor at the defunct Accra Daily Mail, which was published by Harruna Attah, who during the John Mahama government also served as Ghana’s High Commissioner to Namibia.
