Dela Eden Coffie who was placed on the list of wanted Persons by the special prosecutor has been arrested by the police today, 6th June 2022 after he turned himself in at the office of the special prosecutor.
He reported himself to the office of the special prosecutor accompanied by his lawyers.
“The underlisted person, who was placed on the List of Wanted Persons by the Office of the Special Prosecutor on June 3, 2022, turned himself in at the Office of the Special Prosecutor at 6 Haile Selassie Street, South Ridge, Accra on 6 June 2022 at 12:50 pm in the company of his lawyers.” It stated.
The Suspect, Dela Coffie was charged with corruption and corruption-related offenses, and forgery of official documents by the office of the special prosecutor for which he was pronounced wanted on the 3rd of June 2022.
The special prosecutor is using his office to prosecute everyone that has been engaged in corruption scandals.
