BREAKING: Another NDC MP’s Election Victory Challenged In High Court As She Risks Losing The Seat -[SEE DOCUMENT]

Report emerging has it that the NDC Member of Parliament for the Pusiga Constituency in the Upper East Region 2020 election victory has taken a different turn as the high Court now decides who wins.

Per what our portal gathered, she risks losing her seat as the MP for the Constituency after his election has been challenged in the Bolgatanga High Court.

Citing reports in the media, Hon. Laadi Ayii Ayamba is expected to file her response within 8 days of service at the High Court.

The petitioner in the case is Abdul Karim Zanni Dubrure Musah as against the NDC MP for Pusiga and the Electoral Commission being the respondents.

The case was filed at the Bolgatanga High Court today and the Member of Parliament is now expected to respond to the suit.

This adds to the number of Parliamentary seats that are being challenged by the NPP.

The list includes Savelegu, Assin North, and Jomoro Constituencies which are all being held currently by the NDC.

Relatively, the Assin North Constituency, the MP was injuncted by the Cape Coast High Court from holding himself as the MP for the Constituency and from being sworn in.

But the NDC side of Parliament succeeded in making sure that, he was sworn in as the MP for the Constituency.

If the NPP is successful in one or any of the cases, this means that the NDC number of seats in Parliament will be reduced.

Both the NDC and the NPP currently have 137 each with one Independent Member of Parliament, the Fomena Member of Parliament.
