Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan has officially joined Italian side Venezia FC following his departure from Fiorentina.

The 31-year-old has signed a contract with Venezia until the end of the 2025/2026 season, with an option for renewal.

Duncan, a product of Inter Milan's youth academy, arrives at Venezia with extensive Serie A experience.

He has previously played for Livorno, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Cagliari, and most recently, Fiorentina. Over his career, Duncan has made 304 appearances in Italy’s top flight, scoring 14 goals and providing 17 assists.

In European competitions, Duncan has featured in eight Conference League matches and five Europa League games, including qualifiers. His experience will be a valuable asset for Venezia as they prepare for the upcoming seasons.

Duncan left Fiorentina this summer after his contract expired. During his final season with Fiorentina, he made 41 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and providing five assists.

On the international stage, Duncan has earned 10 caps for the Ghana national team. His versatility and experience are expected to significantly bolster Venezia FC's midfield as they look to strengthen their squad for future challenges.
