Union Berlin have made an official offer for German-born Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache, according to German outlet Bild.

The Bundesliga club has put forward a bid ranging between 3 to 4 million euros to acquire the center forward from FC Kaiserslautern. However, this initial offer may not be sufficient to persuade Kaiserslautern to part with their key player.

While Sky reports that the Palatinate team immediately rejected the offer, Bild indicates that negotiations are still ongoing, with the final outcome yet to be determined. Ache is seen as a vital asset for Kaiserslautern's sporting ambitions, especially after scoring as a substitute in their recent match.

Financial factors could play a crucial role in the decision-making process. Kaiserslautern might be tempted by a higher transfer fee, which would represent a significant profit for the club.

Ache was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for 1 million euros in the summer of 2023 and is under contract until 2026.

The situation remains fluid, with both clubs carefully considering the sporting and financial implications of the potential transfer. Fans will be watching closely as the negotiations unfold, eager to see whether Union Berlin can secure the services of the talented striker.
