Bochum sports director Marc Lettau has praised the acquisition of Myron Boadu, highlighting the Dutch-Ghanaian forward's technical skills and finishing ability.
Boadu, 23, has joined VfL Bochum on a one-year loan from AS Monaco, with an option for the club to purchase him for approximately â¬10 million next summer.
Lettau expressed his enthusiasm about the new signing, stating, "Myron is exactly the type of player we were looking for: a dynamic and powerful striker, technically adept and a strong finisher."
Boadu’s move to Bochum comes after a challenging period at Monaco, where he struggled with recurring injuries.
Despite these setbacks, he demonstrated his goal-scoring potential last season with Twente Enschede, scoring three goals in his first eight appearances on loan.
The striker, who was transferred to Monaco for â¬17 million four years ago, is poised to make a significant impact in the Bundesliga. With a purchase option in his loan deal, Bochum is hopeful that Boadu's experience and skill will bolster their attacking lineup for the upcoming season.
