Turkish TFF 1. Lig side Ankara Keçiörengücü have secured the services of highly-rated Ghanaian forward Joseph Ofori on a long-term deal ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 18-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the Ankara-based outfit, marking his first major move in European football.

Ofori will ply his trade at the Ankara Aktepe Stadium as he looks to make an impression in Turkey’s second tier.

His arrival is part of the club’s strategy to invest in emerging talents capable of making an impact both domestically and internationally.

Confirming the signing via Instagram, the club wrote: “Emre Gökdemir Construction Ankara has reached an agreement with Joseph Ofori. We’re welcoming Joseph Ofori to our club and we wish him excellent success under our purple-and-white jersey.”

The promising teenager, who is yet to earn a call-up to Ghana’s senior national team, is regarded as one of the country’s bright prospects.

His performances in Turkey will be closely monitored by national selectors as he continues his development in a competitive league.
