Atalanta head coach Gianpiero Gasperini believes Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana will earn more game time in the future.
Despite limited appearances this season, Gasperini sees potential in the 21-year-old.
Gasperini stated, "I didn’t get to use him [Sulemana] much mainly because we had some real heavy hitters in front of him but he’s earned it no question." Sulemana's impressive goal against AS Roma has caught Gasperini's attention.
"I hope and I’m certain he’ll have plenty to smile about in the future," Gasperini said, hinting at more opportunities for Sulemana. The midfielder has made just eight appearances this season, scoring one goal.
Sulemana's goal against Roma secured Atalanta's Champions League spot for next season, highlighting his impact on the team. Gasperini's comments suggest Sulemana may play a bigger role in the future.
