Ghana international Thomas Partey has heaped praise on Cristiano Ronaldo, describing the 40-year-old as a "machine" with an insatiable hunger for goals.
Partey faced Ronaldo during his time at Almeria, where Madrid's star forward scored twice in their two meetings.
"He is a machine who is focused on goals; he only wants to score," Partey said in an interview with Kafui Dey. He noted that playing against Real Madrid, particularly when Ronaldo is involved, can be a daunting task.
"You can dominate all you want, but they get the ball and feed Ronaldo and boom, they score," Partey added, highlighting the unpredictability and clinical finishing of the Portuguese superstar.
Partey also acknowledged the difficulty of playing against Lionel Messi, citing the complexity of facing the entire Barcelona team.
"You are not only playing against Messi. You are playing against Iniesta, Busquets, Xavi, and the others," he said, emphasizing the challenge of containing the Spanish giants.
